Logistic Audits

Logistic audit of an enterprise is evaluation of the enterprise based on the state of its logistics (the state of particular logistic chain nodes). Items analyzed include:

  • Storing,
  • Inventories management,
  • Orders processing.

Specifically, during a logistic audit DCF experts identify and evaluate processes of storing, inventories renewal, as well as order processing (which includes complaints and returns). On this basis, elements of each logistic sub-system requiring improvement are identified. Eventually, the effect of a carried out audit is determining recommendations on rationalization and improvement of particular nodes, as well as the whole distribution system.

The expected effects of conducting of logistic audit and implementation of its recommendations are:

  • Improvement of the enterprise distribution system efficiency,
  • Lowering of storing costs,
  • Lowering of inventories.

If desired by our Client, we conduct also selected elements of logistic audit (eg. storing audit, inventories management audit, order processing audit), as well as help in implementation of recommendations arising from the conducted audit.

A detailed scope of the logistic audit is in each case discussed with the Client and adjusted to their individual needs.
