Evaluation and Development of Motivation-Related Salary Systems

Motivation is a significant element of an enterprise management. It is necessary to channel efforts and actions of all employees (starting from regular workers, through managers of various levels, up to the CEO level) towards the aim of the enterprise. In enterprises, the basic motivation factor is salary/wage. However, it is mainly not absolute value of a salary that encourages employees to work hard and contentiously for the enterprise, but the manner in which this salary is shaped. Variable factors, such as bonuses, play a specific role in the salary system.

When evaluating or shaping a motivation-related salary system in an enterprise, DCF experts focus on the following key features of this system, influencing directly employees’ motivation levels:

  • Direct relation between salary level and work results and work requirements,
  • Consequence in use,
  • Knowledge and understanding of the salary system among managers, and employees,
  • Relation of salary and work results that are employee-dependent.

In each case, when developing a motivation-related salary system, DCF experts take into account financial abilities of an enterprise. Within the defined abilities of the enterprise, the salary system is developed to maximize its effectiveness. We achieve this by rationalization of  salary expenditure and increasing its motivation role, that influences as well increase in the employee effort and improvement of their work results. When desired by the Client, we develop a motivation-related salary system for all employees of an enterprise, of for its specific sections/departments (production, sales, etc.)
