Planning as a tool of enterprises strategy implementaion

Planning has a crucial role in directing an enterprise towards realization of its strategy. This function influences in a deciding manner all remaining functions (organization, motivation, control). Incorrect planning will result in inefficient allocation of resources, lower employee motivation, and incorrect reactions to changes happening, which has been detailedly presented in this paper.

Measurement of asset employment efficiency according to the invested capital concept

In this paper we prezent the method for measuring enterprises efficiency according to the invested capital concept. This idea was developed as a trial to overcome faults of the traditional asset profitability evaluation through ROA index. These faults appear in inconsequence between measurement of achieved outcomes (profit), and expenditure incurred to achieving them (enterprise assets). Acting accordingly to the invested capital concept, the Author proposes, on the basis of financial statements developed according to Polish law in force, selected corrections of values of sales profit, and accounting value of assets.

Business plan as a strategic plan for enterprises development

In this paper we present basic concepts related to business plan. First, we present the concept and tasks of planning, and next – the general division of plans of an enterprise into operating and strategic plans. We explain at the same time that business plan can be approached also as a strategic plan of an enterprise development. In the following chapters, we discuss tasks and evaluation criteria of strategic plans, the concept and characteristics, types, functions and users of business plans and a general structure of a business plan.

 This paper forms a part of a text book „Business plan as a tool for enterprise strategy implementation”
